Computer Education
Computer Education initiates our young students into the captivating world of computing, and introduces them to its wide and ever increasing range of applications.
We commence computer education from lower classes itself. We make sure that high end machines are available for each child and our labs are spacious. We have a computer lab with provision for restricted free internet browsing.
Science and Math Labs
Our Amrita Vidyalayam has well equipped science labs, and we focus mainly on hands-on practical work so that students may get a better insight into scientific theories.This enhances the inherent inquisitiveness of the student and energizes him to examine uncharted paths.
We have three science labs, one each for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In these labs, we have the most modern scientific equipment and teaching aids which reflect the high standard of education set by us.
Our Maths lab, a fresh concept in the educational field, helps students to understand mathematical principles through exercises, models and teaching aids.
Library
Our library occupies a spacious room with a large collection of books on a wide variety of topics. Books on spirituality, foreign publications, Encyclopaedias, literary work in English and Bengali, etc. are available. In addition to this, we also have rare reference books that help to enhance the knowledge of the students.
Our school promotes reading, and encourages students to cultivate a reading habit which in turn can help them to augment their knowledge and language skills.
Sports
At Amrita Vidyalayam, we consider physical fitness as the foundation for the well-rounded development of dynamic and creative intellectual calibre. Sports provide an excellent opportunity for our students to develop physical and mental fitness and for team spirit and friendship to unfold, among other things.
The school has taken immense care to ensure that all sports requirements are met and our children are benefited by the same. We have provision for indoor games like carrom, chess and table tennis, and facilities for outdoor games such as volleyball courts, cricket and football grounds.
Transportation
Our school has a well developed transportation facility that is available to both students and staff. We have a fleet of 4 buses that connect the school with various selected locations across the town and its outskirts.

Our school building has 3 staff rooms and 1 room each for the Principal, H.M., and office.
We have 31 class rooms, 3 science labs, 1 math lab, 1 library, 1 computer lab, 1 examination room, 1 work experience room, 1 teaching aid room, 1 drawing room, 1 resting room, 1 sports room, 1 conference room, 1 TV room, and 1 music room. We have an e-learning lab with broadband connectivity.
The school has 24-hour uninterrupted water and power supply with provisions for power supply backup. The best, hygienic and separate sanitation facilities for girls and boys are available on each floor. Separate treated drinking water supply is available.
First aid is available in the school itself, and higher medical facilities are available nearby. Counselling facilities are provided in the school for students who need it.
We emphasize inculcating moral and social values in our students through various activities. Our students actively participate in “Amala Bharatam” to maintain a healthy and clean city.
Students are exposed to moral principles, cultural values and the traditions of our mother land through satsangs and question & answer sessions with monastic disciples of Amma, which is found to be morally, culturally and socially uplifting to the children.
Counseling facilities are provided in the school for needed students.
The school has consistently delivered high performance on the academic front. Our students don’t limit their successes to the academic field, but they also excel in various co-curricular activities. Our school won TTIS championship, and our basket ball team triumphed in all CBSE schools basket ball tournament.
